KATIE KAZOO SWITCHEROO

When I was a little boy, there were so many characters I tried to imitate. Superman, Mighty Mouse and G.I. Joe particularly stand out in my mind. I would imagine how fun it would be to actually become these people --- even if it was only for a few minutes. Unfortunately, these dreams never came true for me, no matter how hard I wished.
The same however cannot be said for Katie Carew (nicknamed Kazoo by a class bully), a third grader who has an incredible secret. One day, she wished she could be anybody but herself. Well, her wish did come true but it's not exactly what she had in mind. Now, she keeps turning into other people when she least expects it, thanks to a magical wind that seems to follow her wherever she goes --- and she has no way of stopping it. Inevitably, these transformations cause lots of problems for the people in Katie's life. In the end, though, Katie always seems to save the day with her kindness and quick thinking.
