NARNIA
by C.S. Lewis
Long before Harry Potter discovered Platform 9 and 3/4, four English children --- Lucy, Edmund, Peter and Susan --- traveled through an ordinary-looking clothes closet (wardrobe) and found themselves in a magical world called Narnia. Their adventures are at the heart of THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE and the other six novels that make up the Chronicles of Narnia.
THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE was the first book Narnia book to be published even though it's considered #2 in the series' chronological order. Why did C.S. Lewis do is this way? Who knows...maybe to keep us on our toes! But just so you don't get confused, take a look at List of Titles to find out the order of the books as they were published. And here's how they fall chronologically, according to the events in the story (This is how they are numbered by publisher HarperCollins):
THE MAGICIAN'S NEPHEW
THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE
THE HORSE AND HIS BOY
PRINCE CASPIAN
THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER
THE SILVER CHAIR
THE LAST BATTLE
So dive into these titles for an amazing ride to a fantasy world you'll not soon forget.
