Harriet Doyle --- Max's mom. She's short and thin, with wavy black hair and red-framed glasses.
John Doyle --- Max's dad. He's big and strong with a bald head rimmed with black hair.

Traci Wayne --- The coolest girl Max knows. She's also the girl Max has a crush on.
Ms. McDonald --- Max's favorite teacher. She's young and pretty, with black curly hair and blue eyes.
Mrs. Wright --- Max's school principal.
Coach Freeley --- Max's gym teacher. He's short, broad and muscular.
Dr. Welles --- Max's doctor.
Morgo --- A heat-generating ghost who can melt rabbits, cars and humans.
Phoebe Mullin --- Traci Wayne's friend.
Willy and Billy Wilbur --- Brothers who are the worst bullies at Jefferson Elementary.
Mrs. Manolo --- A drama teacher.
