If you were writing a book and could name the main character anything that you wanted, what name would you pick?

Galloway. It's a classy and manly name.

I'd pick the name I have now! Which is Hailey.

I think I would name my character Kristen Netsirk. Because, like Stanley Yelnats in Holes, you can spell it backwards and it is still the same!

When I wrote a short story for school, I named the main characters Emma and Dave. I've always loved the name Emma because I think it's really pretty.

I would name the character Joshua, because he is very important to the Jews and I am very religious and I love the name Joshua.

It would depend of course what I was writing about. If it were about wolves, I would name the main character Glaicia. If it was about humans, Sally sounds good!

I would name the character Remy.

Anna, Maggie, Benjamin, Noelle, Hannah, Darla, Kaylie, Nick, Leon, or Frank!!

I have already written a book for my school library and it's called The Birthday Train. I haven't published it yet, but the main character is named Annaleise. If I had to change that name, I would change it to Sabrina, Jasmine, Lizzie or Regina.

Sesiella (ses-e-el-la), because that name is different from any other and it's special in its own way.

Cassandra would be a becoming name for a main character, for it is a name of great importance and isn't very common.

I would name my main character Taylor, Kaya or Samantha because Taylor is my middle name, and I like the names Kaya and Samantha.

I love the name Analaure, which is the anglicization of the French name, Anne-Laure.

The name I would pick is Sabrina because that's a beautiful name.

If I were writing a book, my main character would be Francis. I think this name is unique; therefore it should be used.

It's a hard decision, but I'd probably choose Eddith, and everyone would call her Eddie.

We think that the name should be Patricia and the other kids in the book, including teachers, would call her Pika because it's cute and it is her favorite animal type.

I would name the main character Sirius Black. I got the name from Harry Potter. The character would not be like Black because I only like that name. I'm not saying that I don't like Black (which I do). I'm just saying that I wouldn't want my character like Sirius Black.

I would choose it to be Zan because it is short and tomboyish, but if it were a girly sort of character I would choose Clarissa.

I would name her Jymmese because it is a beautiful name.

The name would be Kellie because she is my best friend.

I would name the main character Esmerelda De Veran because I like writing about princesses who are Indian or Asian and that's a pretty name for an Indian princess.

If I was writing a book and could choose a name for the person, it would depend on what type of book I was writing. If it were a funny book, I'd probably choose Libby because I know a very funny Libby. The names in the book would probably be named after my whole family.
