A Series of Unfortunate Events makes me laugh out loud. Lemony Snicket leaves me in stitches. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl is hilarious, too. Gail Carson Levine's books have a dry wit that I really enjoy. Check these books out!

While I was reading The Squire, His Knight, and His Lady by Gerald Morris, I laughed out loud. It was filled with humor, but still had an adventurous plot. It was about Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, but had a humorous twist to it. It is the second in a series of four Arthurian legends and I highly recommend it as well as the other humorous books The Squire and The Savage Damsel and the Dwarf, the other two hilarious books in the series.

The book that made me laugh out loud was Double Fudge. I'm a biiiiiiiiiiig fan of Judy Blume --- she is so cool. I was really happy when she wrote a new book, Double Fudge. In the book Fudge becomes "the miser". He lovessssssssssss money, that is his new phase as Mrs. Hatcher puts it. The book was really funny and wait till you get started on the Richie Potter part. So for all you Judy Blume fans who haven't read it yet, here is a message: READ IT!

I really liked the book My Secret War by Mary Pope Osborne. It was about a girl named Madeline Beck and World War II was going on. Madeline and her "boyfriend" found bombs from Nazis in the beach. The Nazis were trying to blow up different cities. But Madeline called the FBI and told them there was something on the beach but they did it anonymously. It's a really cool book. I like how it pulls you in and you want to keep reading. I'm reading my third Dear America book and it's really good so far!
