The way I found this wonderful website was well I have AOL and that day I went to "KIDS ONLY" the I clicked to "MAKE STUFF" then I clicked to "WRITE." That's when I saw something that said KIDSREADS WRITERS and below that it said "WRITE A LETTER TO YOUR FAVORITE AUTHOR" so I clicked that and found the website then after getting the address of my favorite author which is R.L. Stine I started to check out the website and I liked it.

This website means a lot to me because I can share my opinions about books with other kids so they can read it and I just love the newsletter. It's fun. I wish good luck to other kids.

When the site closed I was very disappointed and gave up on checking back. By the time I did, it was no longer a "CLUB." I found the address and the site again. I love Kidsreads because it has fun games and polls, quizzes, and lots of info on new books. I am also very happy because Kidsreads helped me win a palm visor through the book Sarah's Page. I would love to win those 4 books.....I am sure I would enjoy them....Pick Me Please!!!!

Dear Booker,
I found this website when I was searching on Google for a webpage about various books for the preteen years. I found this website and I poured over the information in my head, and I decided that this was the website that I was looking for. You have put together a wonderful website. I really like this webpage/website.

What this website means to me. Well, that's a very difficult question. Of course, I have many different answers, so maybe I'll just mention a few out of my twenty or so reasons. The first one. I have used your website as a valuable source of information for "fun" facts about some very popular authors, and as a resource for my many book reports.

Well, that pretty much sums it up.

I found out about Kidsreads.com because I was looking for a book website at the Kids Only site. I really like Kidsreads.com. I get their newsletter every week and I make sure I read it. I find out a lot about my favorite authors and I've also found out about new books in a series I like that came out. I know you probably won't pick me for saying this but Kidsreads.com needs to add more authors to their list of authors to write to. The website does not have Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye. I would really like to write to them. Sorry it's so long! Bye.

I was doing a search and on the side it said "Harry Potter" so I clicked on the link. When I got there it was "Kidsread.com" I was looking around the website and then I said I really love this website. I told some of my friends (the ones that like to read) and they told me they also liked it. I really love to read, whenever I check-out books at a library and I have to turn it in 4 weeks. I think this website is good so I can read reviews, so the next time I make a trip to the library I know what book I want to read. I want to give Kidsread.com a big THANK YOU!!

I found Kidsreads.com because I was looking for a good book site to get onto. I did a quick search on AOL, and I saw Kidsreads. I figured that if it was a kids' site, and a reading site, it had to be good. Well I went to it and found that it was totally awesome!

As a reader, the site means a lot to me. It helps me find out what books are about before I buy them. It also helps me find new books on topics I probably wouldn't normally have bought or even bothered to look at. As a reader, Kidsreads.com is a great site. I like to play the games on the site that interact with certain books. They kind of help you to better understand the overall meaning of the book.

Overall, Kidsreads.com is a fantastic site! I love to read so Kidsreads is great for me. Thank you Kidsreads.com!!!!!!!!

Dear Booker T. Worm, Thank you so much for letting this website be available for Kids and Adults to see and add there own information on Books. I, a very busy reader, happened upon this website when I was on Mamamedia.com's website part. Later on I saw you on the AOL lists of Subscription area. This website, as a reader, means to me that you can discover and look out for new books on the way, and also talk with fellow readers about books that we like or dislike. My favorite section of the website is the list of Books for each month, this is why I like this website so much. Again, thank you.

I found out about Kidreads.com by searching for websites that could inspire me with reading. I put "children's websites of books" in the search spot and the first website that came up was Kidreads.com. Kidreads.com means that I can be inspired by the books that other children have enjoyed reading. It has made me want to read more and more every day of the year. I don't care about writing book reports because I'll know I'll enjoy them. Kidreads.com means inspiration to me, maybe not to others, but it will always mean that I can enjoy school and I can enjoy reading not only for school but for fun out of it! Please pick me to win. I will cherish books the rest of my life!

Dear Kidsreads.com,

First of all I would like to thank you for putting out this website. I love to look around and read reviews and play games. I have been reading the Thoroughbred series and loved them but couldn't find the rest of them and it was driving me crazy that I couldn't find out what happened next. Then I went to AskJeeves.com and wasn't even looking for a book club website and I came across this one and it looked like fun so I started looking around and had a blast. When I discovered the Thoroughbred reviews I couldn't believe my good luck. So I got to find out what happened next in the series and am satisfied until I get the chance to actually read them. I am thankful for a website that is great for kids and where I can look at books that interest me. I love that I can read great reviews before I buy the book to make sure I like it. Thank you again.

Hey Kidsreads!

I really, really just love your website! It informs me about all of the important information that I need for my reports and projects and basic facts and the books I should read. It's easy looking up information. Just type it in. You website is so fantastic and excellent. It helps me so, very much as a reader! Please, don't delete the site!

I found this wonderful website one American Online (AOL). I went into the Kid's Only (KO) page. Then, I double clicked KO Channel Help. It was title, Help. I looked down onto the words, Everything List. I wondered what it could be. So, I clicked onto the arrow besides it. There were American Greetings, Search, etc. I scrolled downer. Until...I found Kidsreads.com. I pondered about kids reading books but I never thought it would be so helpful for me as a student and reader! It was my first time there. And I haven't stopped going to that site ever since! That is how I found this site. I love your site!

Hi. My Mom found your website for me. I like it because I think it's so hard to go to a bookstore and the library and just start searching randomly for books. I like the book suggestions you have on your website. I also like that it's broken down by authors. The reviews are the best part of the site. Even my sister, who is older than me, likes to read them. Thank you.

Dear Kidsreads.com,
I love Kidsreads.com and its cause. I found Kidsreads.com through my school. My Language Arts teacher introduced the website to my class. At the time my class was studying the author Cynthia Rylant. Information about some authors was also on the site, in addition to some words from the authors themselves. Rylant was written about on Kidsreads.com. My class's assignment was to answer questions about Rylant and her childhood by reading the website's pages. On the website plenty of information was found, and I completed the assignment.

Although we no longer needed to use the website, it grasped and held my attention. Thus, I continued to go onto the website. I discovered I could play games, find intriguing books, learn about various authors, and much more. All of these features were at my fingertips.

The website constantly provides information concerning new children's books, which I think is very important. I love to read. When I would like to know about a book I may want to read, I just log onto Kidsreads.com for the review of a book. Instead of driving to the local bookstore, the review is in front of me in my house! The web site's friendly activities encourage children to want to know more about the world. Kidsreads.com means so much to me as a reader and student, yearning to read and learn more and enrich my education.

Kidsreads. com is wonderful. The web site takes pride and provides so much, making children aware of fantastic literature. Kidsreads.com does not expect anything from its readers, only that their love of reading enhances. Thanks for being such a great website!!!

From a Parent:
My two daughters have loved to read since they were toddlers. I encourage reading, and they receive books as incentives in reaching goals they have set for themselves. My 10 year old has read 18 books this summer so far, including the whole Merlin series by T.A. Barron. Your website is a great resource for them to see what's new and what they may want to read next. Thank you!

From a Parent:
As a library media specialist in a rural high school, I am always looking for sites that promote reading and sites that are easy to navigate. A friend e-mailed me the link to your site and said "try this one out; it's wonderful!" I particularly liked the pages that explained how to create your own book club. I will be starting my own book club this year and the guidelines were very helpful. I have also enjoyed the Bookreporter.com site!
